Individual care — not a one-size protocol
We don't work from a single universal method. Depending on the clinical findings we combine PIEZON® ultrasound, AIRFLOW® air-polishing and hand instruments. For AIRFLOW® we choose from several powder types (erythritol, glycine, sodium bicarbonate) depending on sensitivity and need. The piezoelectric PIEZON® ultrasound is noticeably more comfortable than legacy ultrasonic systems — precisely what patients notice first. We work in the spirit of the EMS Guided Biofilm Therapy principles.
English-speaking hygienists
The entire visit is comfortably in English — from booking to home-care coaching. Detailed English-language invoices for expat and international insurance available on request.
Registered dental hygienists
Our team is made up of qualified dental hygienists with years of practice and regular EMS and Curaden certification training.
Modern equipment in central Prague
PIEZON® PS ultrasonic system, EMS AIRFLOW® Prophylaxis Master and — additionally — the Japanese NSK Varios Combi Pro combined unit (ultrasonic scaling plus supra- and subgingival air polishing in a single device), together with an intraoral camera for before/after documentation.

How much will your Czech insurer reimburse for dental hygiene?
All Czech public health insurers contribute to dental hygiene from their prevention fund — including for foreigners insured in the Czech system. Pick your insurer and we'll show how much you can claim in 2026 and what you'll pay after the reimbursement.
This insurer does not offer a special contribution for pregnancy.

- Claim by 31 Dec 2026. The receipt must not be older than 6 months.
- Preventive check-up with a general practitioner within the last 2 years.
- Contribution can be claimed once (single payout).
- For children max. 2 claims (combined with sport / movement benefit).
- Claim only via the Moje VZP app.
How it works with us
- We issue an itemised tax receipt / invoice for the treatment that you attach to your insurer's claim.
- You claim the contribution yourself with your insurer (app, client zone or branch) — clinics do not file the claim for you.

How a dental hygiene appointment works
Each visit lasts 55 minutes with a clear, predictable structure. The exact steps are always chosen individually based on the state of your teeth and gums.
Clinical examination and consultation
We assess the health of your teeth and gums, measure periodontal pocket depths and talk through your current home-care routine and any concerns. Examination and consultation are part of the treatment price.
Biofilm disclosing
A gentle disclosing solution stains the bacterial biofilm so we can see exactly where plaque is hiding — a map for us to work from and a guide for your home care.
AIRFLOW® — biofilm and stain removal
A stream of warm water, air and fine powder gently removes biofilm and surface stains from tea, coffee, red wine or smoking. We choose from several powder types (erythritol, glycine, sodium bicarbonate) depending on sensitivity and need. Safe on enamel, composite fillings, crowns, implants and orthodontic appliances.
PIEZON® — tartar removal (as needed)
Where indicated, hardened tartar is removed with the PIEZON® piezoelectric ultrasound. Its precise oscillations work comfortably below the gumline and are noticeably more comfortable on tooth structure than legacy ultrasonic scalers.
Polishing and fluoride treatment
A smoother tooth surface makes it harder for new biofilm to attach. The fluoride treatment then remineralises enamel, reduces sensitivity of exposed roots and supports long-term prevention of decay.
Home-care coaching and recall plan
We recommend the right toothbrush, interdental tools and technique for your mouth — home care determines the outcome more than the appointment itself. We agree the ideal interval for your next visit based on the state of your gums and any risk factors.
